Got it as a gift and I love it!

I have a thing for maps and globes and I have been eyeing this since I saw it posted on the website. I told my aunt about it and she ended up buying it for me as a bday gift. I think it is gorgeous. I am happy my aunt bought me the the non-colored globe as I think it has that antique style I love about old maps. It sits center on our piano and visitors often comment on how much they enjoy it too. I was wondering how the directions were going to explain building the globe portion, but I found them very easy and direct. I build a lot of mechanical models and i would have to say this is one of my favorite. Except for one, all the pieces they are thick and stay together perfectly. The one piece that gave me problems was the inside base. The top supporting base connected perfectly, but the bottomwould not lock into place. Tried switching it up incase I got them mixed up, but the globe is symmetrical and that one piece was just not going to lock into place on it's own. I used a bit of glue between the base and the globe's scaffolding and everything else made for a perfect fit.

I love it

So, I got this as a bday present which means I can't be a verified purchaser... I have been wanting it since wooden city posted it on their website and I was so excited to get it. I loved making this, and it is beautiful. Currently sitting on top of our piano and I love seeing it when I sit down to play. Turn it around a few times a day just because.

I am a devoted mechanical puzzle hobbiest, so not quite sure how to gage this for the average builder. I found it an extremely easy build with very clear and concise directions. I was wondering how they were going to show the directions for putting together the actual panels on the circular globe, but they were great. No, "oops, that doesn't go there." It is very strait forward as to which pieces go on which panel and the physical panel pieces themselves have numbers on the face that points inward, so they don't show when the puzzle is finished. The directions are in color and very precise and organized. I was curious and skipped ahead to see how they would explain how the globe fit together, and was pleased to see that they also were very clear and concise, showing how the panels are arranged on the globe by showing the corresponding panel numbers and how they rank in the order from top to bottom.

The hardest was the base, due to having to get all the panels to line up, but my coordination is a little off due to a hand injury.

Anyways, gorgeous. Love it. Pic is below as I can't verify my purchase.

Love it!

Defiantly puzzles for someone that has good directional understanding and plenty of petitence.
Once completed I completed my glove, I enjoy to see it all together.
